TRAVELING SAFELY

We are as eager as you are to get back to exploring our world and to doing so responsibly.

Our number one priority is the safety of you our guests and our dedicated staff. Advivum Journeys is regularly reviewing our protocols and recommendations to ensure that our retreats have appropriate enhanced safety precautions in place.

We are closely and actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are adhering to the guidelines put forth by the Government officials of the host country and the World Health Organization (WHO).

We encourage all our participants to keep themselves abreast of the ever-changing landscape in their own country and the host country of their retreat.

If you have a question not addressed here or you would like further clarification, please don’t hesitate to email us at info@advivum.ca

We will update this page periodically.

COVID-19 VACCINATION AND TESTING

We strongly believe that the fastest return to normalcy will be when everyone is vaccinated against COVID-19. We would like to request that you are before joining one of our retreats. We will ask for your proof of vaccination at time of registration.

We will also require the completion of a negative Covid test upon arrival at the retreat centre. Tests will be administered onsite.

Please note that your host country may have additional COVID-19 requirements for entry if you are travelling internationally. Understanding these requirements remains the responsibility of the traveller.

Our entire staff has received a double Covid -19 vaccination + booster.

SANITIZING AND HYGIENE

Our facilities following the strictest recommended guidelines of the host country’s health authorities. Your rooms and all surfaces will be cleaned prior to your arrival.

In order to ensure that you are the only one accessing your room during your stay, we will not be providing housekeeping or turndown service at this time.

FACE COVERINGS

We ask each guest to bring a personal face mask, which may be required indoors, in accordance with WHO and Government regulations of the host country.

MEALS

When practical, we will dine outside on the terrace and enjoy outdoor picnics in the gardens and on the lawns. Our indoor evening meals are in the formal dining room which comfortably seats 35 people and thus allows for ample distancing for our small group.

FLIGHTS

Knowing your right to enter the country and your flights are your responsibility. Please observe your change and cancellation policies carefully.

We highly recommend, due to the volatility of the current travel environment, that you purchase refundable or exchangeable tickets. Advivum Journeys will not be responsible for any monies you have paid for travel, so please make sure you have booked flexible flights with an airline that will allow free date changes or that issues credit vouchers for future flights.

If you are unable to attend the alternative retreat dates, you can transfer your payment to a different retreat altogether or receive a full refund.

CANCELLATION BY YOU

You may cancel in writing at any time. As this is an intimate retreat with limited enrolment that includes all meals, accommodations, and coaching, we cannot accommodate deposit refunds. However, if something comes up and you cannot attend, you can request a partial refund according to our cancellation policy which you will receive with your registration, and your non-refundable 25% deposit can instead be transferred for ANY future retreat, with no expiry date, if we are able to fill your spot.

TRAVELLERS INSURANCE

We highly recommend that each traveller considers purchasing insurance that covers you for the activities you plan to undertake and has adequate cover for travel delay, cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and your personal belongings.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DEVELOP SYMPTOMS WHILE ON RETREAT?

If you develop Coronavirus symptoms while on a retreat, we will have free rapid Covid-19 Antigen tests available. If your test is positive, you will be quarantined away from the group and we will assist you to get a further PCR test and ensure that you are well looked after until you can get home. It is important that you have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical costs incurred due to Coronavirus, as all expenses for PCR testing, treatment or self-isolation will need to be covered by you.
